Yesterday you crashed My Hard Drive

Yesterday you crashed My Hard Drive

I sit at the beach and think of you
You’ve stolen my mind
Short circuited my hard drive
Not even the birds stand a chance of my attention
Not even my family can compete

Why an interest in me
Six others are waiting around a table
Thought provoking I guess
Comparable to my amazement with the pollution
A muse
Anything
A project for you
A distraction from the loneliness
A distraction from the isolation that fame has afforded you

For me only confusion
I talk to someone who is not there
I place honor and trust in a mentor who I cannot see
But oh the passion
The passion of my thoughts
The power of my mind
I know that I’m not crazy
I know that you are there

You, like the Sandpiper
Speeding along the tide line
Snipping up bites to eat
